Rhonda Nichols Fleetwood

   Rhonda Elaine Nichols Fleetwood, 56, of 123 Creek Trail, Hertford, NC, passed away on Christmas morning, December 25, 2016, in her home.

   Rhonda was born in Columbus, OH on January 29, 1960, and was the daughter of Carol Lane Nichols of Johnstown, OH and the late Lawrence Leslie Nichols. The retired manager of The Chicken Kitchen in Edenton, she loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, living on the water, gardening, and serving the people of Edenton.

   In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Nichols.

   With her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Megan East and husband Chris of Hertford; two sons, Lawrence William “Billy” McGuinness and wife Laura of Manassas, VA and Daniel Edward “Danny” McGuinness and wife Tharani of Holly Springs; three brothers, Darryl and Terry Nichols, both of Johnstown, and Duane Nichols and wife, Michelle, who was Rhonda’s very special sister-in-law, of Roper; and three grandsons, Zakkari, Lake, and Jackson.

   A memorial service will be held Friday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas Biggs. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the chapel service.
