Donald Wayne “Agitator” Latham, 69, of 3011 Rocky Hock Road, Edenton, NC, died Monday, January 9, 2017 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton.
Mr. Latham was born in Halifax County on August 6, 1947. He was a retired plant engineer from Edenton Cotton Mill, was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church, and had served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Henry Latham, Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda Kay Coats Latham; his daughter, Lisa Gail Latham and husband Greg Overby of Nashville, TN; and his mother, Estelle Cooper Latham and husband Jhue of Scotland Neck.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Rocky Hock Baptist Church and will be conducted by his pastor, Dr. James Horton. Friends may join the family Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and all other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the building fund of Rocky Hock Baptist Church, 113 Rocky Hock Church Road, Edenton, NC 27932.
