Sherry Harpin Alden

   Sherry Harpin Alden, 71, of 432 Cisco Road, Tyner, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in her home.

   Mrs. Alden was born in Beaufort County, NC on August 8, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Billie Estelle Harpin. Retired from the State Department where she worked in the logistics area for Ambassadors, she was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Edenton.

   Surviving are her husband, Philip S. Alden; three daughters, Meilin Amanda Sanchez, Molli Rose, and Mandi Lowrie; a son, Ian Michael Johnson; and five grandchildren.

   In accordance with her wishes, only a small private service was held. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, assisted the family with arrangements.
