Kenneth MacKenzie Park


   Kenneth MacKenzie Park, 70, of 360 Schooner Landing Drive, Edenton, NC, and formerly of South Salem, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in his home.

 

   Mr. Park was born in New York, NY on June 18, 1946, and was the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Fusay Park. A retired officer with the Westchester County Dept. of Corrections, he had been a member of the Yorktown Elks Club for 56 years, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars for 47 years, where he built and maintained many lasting friendships.

 

   Surviving are his wife, Merrilee Wages Park; his daughter, Heather “Cuppy” Park of Westchester, NY; his son, Scott Park and wife Laurie, and their daughter Violet, of Manhattan, NY; and two sisters, Margaret Park of Mahopac, NY, and Gail Mills of Waynesboro, PA. Also surviving are Merrilee’s son, Bryan Pectol of Pawling, NY, and his children, Brandon of Atlanta, GA, and Isabella of Katonah, NY.

 

   Preceded in death by his favorite dog, Mutley, he is survived by his three feline kids, Patio, Taz, and Mildred.

 

   The family will receive friends Saturday, February 11th, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mt. Kisco, NY. A graveside service will follow the visitation, and will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Middle Patent Rural Cemetery in Banksville.
