Wanda Kight Lantz

   Wanda Kight Lantz, 70, of 191 S. Indiantown Road, Shawboro, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Sentara Nursing Center, Barco.

   Mrs. Lantz was born in Currituck County on February 25, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Henry Forbes and Irene Adelaide Gregory Kight. A homemaker, she attended Providence Baptist Church.

   Surviving are her husband of 50 years, James Paul Lantz; a son, James Lantz and wife Tanya of Shawboro; a sister, Lois Forbes and husband Joseph, also of Shawboro; five grandchildren, Haley and Clay Lantz, Alex Fiorillo, Kimmie Culler, and Mia Greene; and a nephew, Joey Forbes.

   Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gregory Family Cemetery, Indiantown Road, Shawboro, and will be officiated by the Revs. Frank Thigpen and Charles Stevens. Friends may join the family at the residence. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
