Larry Wayne Rivenbark, II

   Larry Wayne Rivenbark, II, 33, of 324 Cisco Road, Tyner, NC, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

   Larry was born on May 14, 1983, in Portsmouth, VA. Employed with Food Lion of Edenton, locals may remember him for his playing with several area bands, most notably “UnderCross”.

   Surviving are his wife, Sam Batten Rivenbark and their three children, Amalia Mae, Braelei Lia, and Nathaniel Kutter Rivenbark; his parents, Jacquelyn C. Smyth and husband Jerry of Tyner, and Larry Wayne Rivenbark and wife Bridget of Gates; a sister, April Smyth Soto of Tyner; three brothers, Zack Rivenbark of Philadelphia, PA, Cody Rivenbark of Portsmouth, VA, and Jerry Smyth, Jr. of Tyner; and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Beattie of Richmond, VA.

   Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Center Hill Baptist Church and will be conducted by The Rev. Don English. A private burial will follow in the Toppin Family Cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
