David White Wiggins

   David White Wiggins, 90, of 336 Silver Springs Road of Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in his home, the same in which he was born on August 13, 1926.

   A retired farmer, he was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, and had served in the United States Army. The last surviving child of the late John Ezra and Mary White Wiggins, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret W. Scurlock and Alice W. Zehmer, and by his brother, John Ezra Wiggins, Jr.

   Surviving are his wife of 62 years, June Ellmore Wiggins, extended family members, and friends and neighbors.

   Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Damascus Christian Church Cemetery and will be conducted by his pastor, The Rev. Steve Hall. Friends may join the family in the social hall of Damascus Church immediately following the service.
