Robert Wayne Voliva

   Robert Wayne Voliva, 80, of 7454 NC 94 North, Creswell, NC, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home.

   Mr. Voliva was born in Tyrrell County on January 3, 1937, and was the son of the late Robert Oakley and Jessie Gertrude Everton Voliva. A retired painter and carpenter, he was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

   Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Norma Earlene Barnes Voliva; two daughters, Judy Roughton and husband Ben of Asheboro, and Sandra Swain and husband Chester of Columbia; two brothers, David Arnold Voliva and Gary Allen Voliva; three grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, and Hunter; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

   A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, at 2:00 p.m. in Faith Baptist Church.
