Harry Ray Hill

   Harry Ray Hill, 75, of Merry Hill, NC, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 in his home.

    Mr. Hill was born in Essex County, NJ, and was the son of the late Harry Crabbe and Elizabeth Jordan Hill. A retired test engineer with Mack Trucks, he was an avid golfer.

    Surviving are his wife of nearly 50 years, Diana Hill; a son, David Kean and wife Tanya Africa of Truckee, CA; a sister, Marilyn Hill of West Palm Beach, FL; and a longtime friend, RoseMarie Hosford, also of West Palm Beach.

    Memorial services will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-County Animal Shelter, 138 Icaria Road, Tyner, NC 27980.
