Josephine McNally Mahon

   Josephine McNally “Josie” Mahon, 36, of Seaview Drive, Edenton, NC and formerly of the Tidewater area of Virginia, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, at home where she was surrounded by her family.

   Josie was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 7, 1980, had majored in Hospitality and Tourism Manangement in college, and had worked in that field for several years.

   Surviving are her mother, Sandy Kattus Mahon of Birmingham, AL; her father, Richard C. Mahon and his wife Alexis of Edenton; two brothers, Christopher Brian Mahon and wife Mollie of Alexandria, VA, and Brendan Patrick Mahon of Washington, DC; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

   Josie’s arrangements are being handled under the care of Ridout’s Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL, and the schedule of those services will be announced as they are available.

   Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, assisted the family with the local arrangements in Edenton.
