Nancy O'Neal Massey

   Nancy Jeanne O’Neal Massey, 70, of Harding Street, Raleigh, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, in Vidant Bertie Hospital, Windsor.

   Mrs. Massey was born in Atlanta, GA on January 14, 1947, and was the daughter of Jeanne Smith O’Neal of Edenton, and the late W.D. O’Neal. Retired from the North Carolina Department of Community Colleges, she was a Methodist by faith.

   In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hughes Massey, Jr., and by her brother, Francis D. O’Neal.

   With her mother, surviving is her sister, Amy S. O’Neal of Plymouth.

   In accordance with her wishes, all services will be private. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
