Patricia Huffman

   Patricia Gail McDowell "Trish" Huffman, 58, of Tyner, NC, died Friday, July 21, 2017.

   Trish was born on April 6, 1959 in Richmond County and was the second youngest of nine children born to late Beulah Elouise Hall and Hollis Cornelius McDowell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Phines, William, and Cornelius "Buck" McDowell; an infant sister, Carolyn Sue McDowell; and dear friends whom Trish had looked at as her second set of parents, Lehman and Kay Hardin.

   Surviving are her daughter, Maria Huffman Many of Cheraw, SC; three grandchildren, Alec Many of Toledo, OH, and Gage and Germany Huffman, both of Cheraw; her fiancé, Bobby Wiggins of Tyner; a brother, Jerry McDowell of New Bern; five sisters, Ann Grooms of High Point, Margie Rogers and husband O.C., and Virginia Ramsey, both of Jacksonville, Debbie Graham and fiancé Gerald Tipton of Gray, TN, and Rebecca Ackert and husband Dale of Camden, SC.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service on Saturday.
