      Kay Winslow Boyce, 74, of 314 Turnpike Road, Belvidere, NC, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City.       Mrs. Boyce was born in Perquimans County on October 19, 1942, and was the daughter of the late James Alvah and Edna Elizabeth Winslow.  A retired nurse from Perquimans County Schools, she was a member of Up River Friends Meeting, and a former member of the Perquimans County Rescue Squad.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Luther Boyce; her son, Eric Boyce; and by a brother, James DeWitt Winslow.       Surviving are her daughter, Michelle Pronto and husband Rick of Belvidere; a daughter-in-law, Christy Boyce; two grandchildren, Jonathan Boyce and wife Tiffani, and Dawn O'Connor and husband Maury, all of Hertford; and four great-grandchildren, Cailyn, Ariel, Brayden, and Adalyn.      Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Up River Cemetery, and will be officiated by her pastor, The Rev. Chuck Hartman.  Friends may join the family at Michelle and Rick's home, 296 Turnpike Road, Belvidere.       The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to her caregivers from these past years, and especially to Melissa, Karen, Suzanne, Erica, and Dawn, for the care and comfort provided their loved one.       Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.       Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements, and online condolences may be made to them by visiting www.millerfhc.com.
