Millie Bunn

   Mildred Marie Zickefoose “Millie” Bunn, 55, of 318 Munsee Trail, Edenton, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017, in UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.

   Millie was born on December 17, 1961, and was the daughter of Lorraine Catherine Zickefoose of Alcoa, TN, and the late Arlo B. Zickefoose, Sr. A faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church, she was an Assistant Manager at Rose’s of Edenton, and had formerly worked at The Soda Shoppe.

   In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Rebecca; and by her brothers, Arlo, Michael, and John.

   Surviving with her mother, are her husband of 36 years, James Lee Bunn, Sr.; four daughters, Katie Bunn Forehand and husband Daniel, Ambriel Bunn, and Oaklyn Bunn, all of Edenton, and Bristol Gurganious and husband Ryan of Lincolnton; five sons, James L. Bunn, Jr. and wife Katie of Woodbine, GA, Dakota Bunn and wife Brittany of Elm City, and Marshall Bunn and wife Betty Jean, Frisco Bunn, and Slade Bunn, all of Edenton; a sister, Denise Monardo; two brothers, Steve and Francis Zickefoose; and 11 grandchildren, Jadelyne, Madagan, Emersyn, Aniston, Gracyn, Wyatt, Abigail, Corbin, Evie, Morgan, and Brayden.

   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne Parrish Church. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, or other times at the residence.
