Linda Geraldine Everitt

   Linda Geraldine Everitt, 73, of King Street, Halifax, NC, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017, in Accordius Health Center, Gatesville, NC.

   Ms. Everitt was born in Pensacola, FL on October 3, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Blanks Atwell Everitt and Mildred Elizabeth Hare Everitt. She resided in the Life, Inc. group home in Halifax, NC, where she received loving, tender, and excellent care for most of two decades, for which Linda’s family is grateful. Life at Halifax was her home.

   Surviving are her sister Elizabeth Anne Higgins of Ecuador, her brother Tommy Everitt and his wife Mary Catherine of Gatesville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

   Celebrations of her life will be held in the Everitt home beginning at noon Saturday, August 26th and again at Life Home at a date to be determined. Interment will be done in the cemetery of Salem Methodist Church in Sneads, Florida.
