Kathleen Taylor Sawyer

   Kathleen Margaret Taylor Sawyer, 67, of 606 Chowan Trail, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in Vidant Chowan Hospital.

   Mrs. Sawyer was born in Danbury, CT, and was the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy Arnold Taylor. A homemaker, she was a member of Bandon Chapel, the L.O.V.E. Group, and had worked as a volunteer with the Clothes Closet and other community organizations.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Osborne, and David Sawyer.

   Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Lassiter of Edenton; her son, Lee Osborne and wife Jammie, also of Edenton; and four grandchildren, Ashley Tomscak, Beth Scott, Pacey Lassiter, and Myles Lassiter.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Bandon Chapel, and will be conducted by her pastor, The Rev. Mark Nixon. A private burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist them with medical and final expenses.
