Kathy Griffin Proctor

   Kathy Lynn Griffin Proctor, 55, of 183 Levi Creecy Road, Edenton, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in Vidant Chowan Hospital.      Kathy was born in Chowan County on February 23, 1962, and was the daughter of the late Floyd William Griffin, Sr. and Evelyn Perry Griffin. A former Registered Nurse, she had worked at both Chowan and Albemarle Hospitals, and also with the Bertie County Health Department. She was a member of Open Door Church.      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bryant Griffin.      Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Anthony Judson “Andy” Proctor, Sr.; two sons, A.J. Proctor, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Brock Justin Proctor of Hertford; two brothers, Wayne Griffin of Edenton, and Bill Griffin of Fort Wayne; and two granddaughters, Alyssa Jayden Proctor and Abigail Eure Proctor.      Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Ricky Bishop. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
