   Kevin Earl McGrogan, 49, of Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

  
   Mr. McGrogan was born in Hawaii on February 21, 1968, and was the son of Corinne Bopry McGrogan of Edenton and the late Lawrence Francis McGrogan, Jr.  Employed for many years with United Piece & Dye Works, in his earlier years he was a confirmed member of Zion Lutheran Church in Philadelphia, PA.

  
   In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Kimberly Callahan McGrogan.

  
   Surviving along with his mother are his two brothers, Lawrence F. McGrogan and wife Margaret of Virginia Beach, VA and Loren T. McGrogan and fiancée Denise Fulmer of Pennsburg, PA; eight nieces and nephews, Tricia, Tyler, Matt, Buddy, Sissy, Patrick, Andrew, and Christopher; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

  
   A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Interpath Parkway, Elizabeth City, and will be officiated by The Rev. Kimberly Carlson and Vicar Matthew Brunoehler.  Friends may join the family in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service.

  
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any chapter of the American Cancer Society.
