Linda Varin Lane

   Linda Lee Varin Lane of Edenton, NC, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, in her home where she was surrounded by her family.

   Linda was born in Franklin, NJ, the only child of Clifford V. and Bessie M. Varin. A retired teacher and Human Resource Manager, she was involved in the community with the Woman’s Club, the Cupola House Board, and many other activities. With this involvement, she made many dear and lasting friends who will remember her with great affection.

   Family was the core of Linda’s life. She was married to Steve for 53 years, and along with him, those family members left to cherish her memory include their two sons, Kyle, Paige and wife Rachael, and three grandchildren, Hannah, Ayden, and Samantha, all residing in Florida.

   A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, November 19th, at 3:00 p.m. in the home of Sam and Gray Dixon, 114 West King Street, Edenton.
