Alice Faye Williams Jones

   Alice Faye Williams Jones, 76, of 131 Shannonhouse Road, Edenton, NC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

   Faye was born in Pasquotank County on November 30, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Alton Williams and Mary Wright Williams Goodwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ronald O. Jones; and by her brother, Warren Williams, Sr.

   Faye always had a smile on her face, and took great pride in being a Marine Corps wife, and a Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.

   Surviving are her four children, Bonny Bramblet and husband Bob of Bonita Springs, FL, Donald Jones and wife Shealene, and William “Tom” Jones, all of Edenton, and Joseph Lee Jones of Ft. Pierce, FL; her sister, Vivian Hale of Edenton; 11 grandchildren, Wilson Quiambao, Brooke Biggs, Jennifer Rucker, Christopher Ward, Eric Bramblet, and Andy, Holley, Joey, Nathan, Taylor, and Shyene Jones; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jordan, Aleeya, and Khloe Rucker, Jonathan Jones, Adison Allen, and the one soon to be born; three nieces and three nephews.

   Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery and will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas Biggs. Friends may join the family Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
