Stanley Earl Johnson

   Stanley Earl Johnson, 60, of East Queen Street, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 in his home.

   Mr. Johnson was born in Norfolk, VA on December 28, 1956, and was the son of the late Joshua Johnson and Joyce Raye Brooks Vandgrift. He was a carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Morgan.

   Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Lawrence of Plymouth; two sons, Jeremy Johnson and wife Courtney of Pantego and Michael Clark of Plymouth; five sisters, Linda Parker of Hertford, Bonnie Combs of Orange Park, FL, Crystal Carter of Deep Run, Earline Herba of Hertford, and Julie Fulford of Norfolk; and seven grandchildren, Bryanna, Jalyn, David, Gunner, Jaxon, Jordan, and Carlee.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 12 noon in Chapel On The Sound, 112 Leisure Road, Hertford. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist them with medical and final expenses.

   Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
