Sheila Ann Owens

   Shelia Ann Owens, 70, of 3021 Rose Trailer Park Road, Edenton, NC, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2017, in her home.

   Mrs. Owens was born in Tyrrell County on August 31, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Delmar Clarence Owens, Sr. and Ola Gerlene Vanhorn Furlough. Before her health issues prevented her from working, she was the manager of Video To Go in Edenton, and was a longtime member of Cape Colony Church of Christ.

   Surviving are three children, Joy Owens Knickerbocker and husband Michael of Roper, Kimberly Owens Johnson of Edenton, and Brian Keith Owens of Farmville, and their father, Ernest Wilson Owens, Jr. of Hertford. Also surviving are two sisters, Denise Owens Sawyer of Plymouth and Michelle Owens Lawrence and husband David of Pantego; her brother, Delmar C. Owens, Jr. and wife Stacey of Columbia; and two grandchildren, Kayla Ann Warren, and Ethan Allen Owens, both of Edenton.

   In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
