Patricia Anne Kirkpatrick

   Patricia Anne Stanley Kirkpatrick, 91, of 608 Apache Trail, Edenton, NC, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018, in Three Rivers Health & Rehabilitation Center, Windsor.

   Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born in Westmoreland County, PA, on December 12, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Harry Randall and Alice Annabelle Norris Stanley. A homemaker, she was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in the Chapanoke community of Perquimans County, and was a longtime member of the L.O.V.E. Group.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence William Kirkpatrick; a son, Keith A. Kirkpatrick; and by a brother, Robert Stanley.

   Surviving are two daughters, Kathie A. Smith of Edenton, and Rev. Anne L. Tavenner and husband Rev. Ray Tavenner of Williamston; two sons, David H. Kirkpatrick and wife Nancy of Cedar Hills, UT, and Eugene R. Kirkpatrick and wife Michelle of Herndon, VA; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Kirkpatrick Huzzy of Taneytown, MD; a brother, William Stanley and wife Patricia of Niagara Falls, NY; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

   A memorial service will be held Monday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Vickie Woolard. Inurnment, at a later date, will be next to her husband in Arlington National Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the funeral home following the service, or all other times at Anne and Ray’s home, The Methodist Parsonage, 106 East Church Street, Williamston, NC 27892.
