Curtis Eugene Hall

   Curtis Eugene Hall, 78, of 179 Riverview Drive, Hertford, NC, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

 

   Mr. Hall was born in Pike County, KY on August 18, 1939, and was the son of the late Virgil Hall and Alberta Davis Music. Retired as a Master Chief from the US Navy following 30 years of service, he attended the Hertford Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Adkins.

 

   Surviving are his wife of nearly 45 years, Dorothy Lyzotte Hall; a son, Michael Hall (Aliza) of Gainesville, VA; a daughter, Jennifer Hall Adkins of Berlin, MD; two grandchildren, Laurel Hall and Casie Adkins; a half brother, Michael Music; and a son-in-law, Frank Adkins. Also surviving are Dorothy's two sons, James Wrenn of Emporia, VA and Benjamin Jarratt (Hope) of Yale, VA.

 

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, at noon in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 224 West Main Street, Winfall.

 

   Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

In lieu for flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Watchtower Bible and Track Society, 900 Red Mills Road, Wallkill, NY 12589.
