Phillip Edward Reitelbach

   Phillip Edward Reitelbach, 57, of Laurel Street, Hertford, NC, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 in his home.

   Mr. Reitelbach was born in Norfolk, VA on February 25, 1960, and was the son of the late Edward Reitelbach and Katherine Marie Ashworth Burgess. For many years he had been employed as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Michelle Marlow.

   Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Pamela Jean Russell Reitelbach; a daughter, Katherine Maria Reitelbach of Allentown, PA; a son, Phillip Paul Reitelbach and wife Kimberly of Chesapeake, VA; four sisters, Deborah Mahoney of Williams, IN, Wanda Hopper of Timberville, VA, Mary Leckrone of Suffolk, VA, and Pamela Barrena of Deltona, FL; his step-father, James Burgess of Merritt Island, FL; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Bradley.

   A memorial service will be held at a later date. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
