Louis Early Stephenson

   Louis Early Stephenson, 81, of 1387 NC Hwy 343 South, Shiloh, NC, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 in his home.

  
   Mr. Stephenson was born in Bertie County on August 19, 1936, and was the son of the late Rev. A.L.G. and Geraldine Early Stephenson.  Retired as a Senior Chief from the US Coast Guard, he later worked as a recruiter for the G.E.D. program with College of The Albemarle.  He attended Riddle Pentecostal Holiness Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Starr Stephenson, and by an infant brother, James Stephenson.

  
   Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Jo-Anne Topping Stephenson; three sons, Marty Stephenson of Aulander, Randy Stephenson of Fountain, and Gerald Stephenson and wife Melissa of Shiloh; a daughter, Jennifer Heath and husband Roy of Shiloh; two sisters, Emma Frances Callender of Houston, TX and Cecelia Anne Beck of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren, Melanie, Lindsey, Tiffany, Aimee, and Lindsei; and five great-grandchildren.

  
   A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Riddle Pentecostal Holiness Church, and will be conducted by Pastor Jon Mason.  Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service, and all other times at the residence.
