Richard Erick Green

  Richard Erick Green, 50, of White Hat Road, Hertford, NC, died Thursday, January 25, 2018.

   Mr. Green was born in Falls Church, VA on January 16, 1968, and was the son of Richard Aaron and Mary Nixon Green of Elizabeth City.  Employed as a technician in telecommunications for many years, he grew up in the fellowship of Faith Baptist Church in Elizabeth City.  A veteran, he had served in the Army during Operation Desert Storm. 

   In addition to his parents, surviving are his daughter, Sarah Renee Green of Camden; his son, Ryan Aaron Green of Elizabeth City; a sister, Cathy Rodgers of Sparta, MO; a brother, Brett Green of Roanoke, VA; and a grandson, Jenson Bouch.

   A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Faith Baptist Church, and will be conducted by the Rev. Bryan Pease.  Friends may join the family at the home of his parents, 1907 Johnson Road, Elizabeth City.
