Robert Lee "Bobby" Bunch, Jr.

   Robert Lee “Bobby” Bunch, Jr., 83, of 349 Yeopim Road, Edenton, NC, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, in Vidant Inpatient Hospice, Greenville.

  
   Mr. Bunch was born in Chowan County on January 14, 1935, and was the son of the late Robert L., Sr. and Lula Mae Webb Bunch. He was a retired farmer, and as a young man served in the United States Army. A faithful member of Edenton Baptist Church where he had served as an usher and as an officer in the Sunday School Department, another of life’s enjoyments was his love of fishing.

  
   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ashley Bunch; and by a sister and her husband, Evelyn and Fred Keeter.

  
   Surviving are his children, Wanda Bunch Small and husband, Leonard, Jr., and Maurice Paul Bunch and wife, Dorothy, all of Edenton; his sister, Susan C. “Sue” Bunch of Edenton; his brother, Jack W. Bunch and wife, Cindy, of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, Collins Small, Caroline Small, Anna Bunch (Tyler Sturgeon), Mary Scott Bunch Anderson (Zach), and Rob Bunch; and a great-grandson, Asher Sturgeon.

  
   Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Edenton Baptist Church and will be conducted by his pastor, The Rev. David Brooks. Burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a reception immediately following the church service on Tuesday, and all other times at the residence.
