J.C. Stillman

   James Clyde "J.C." Stillman, 60, of 7 Tanglewood Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, February 26, 2018 in his home.

   Mr. Stillman was born in Chowan County on December 19, 1957, and was the son of the late James Basil and Dora Mae Yount Stillman. A retired electrician, he was raised in the fellowship of Edenton Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish.

   Surviving are his wife, Frances Kotel "Frankie" Stillman; a son, Jamie Stillman of Edenton; a daughter, Jenniffer Basnight of Elizabeth City; and two grandchildren, Jenna and Leeum.

   Friends may join the family Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford.
