Kenneth Edwin Spruill

   Kenneth Edwin Spruill, 58, of Roper, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in his home.

   Born in Tyrrell County on September 10, 1959, he was the son of the late Elbert Duard and Beedie Ambrose Spruill. A retired farmer, he was a member of Scuppernong Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay and Don Spruill, and by a sister, Patricia Tyson.

   Surviving are his wife of nearly 15 years, Susan Clifton Spruill; a son, Zachary Kenneth Spruill; a daughter, Kendra Ann Spruill; a brother, Jeff Spruill, four sisters, Diane Twiddy, Cheryl Williams, Brenda Williams, and Kathy Biggs; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Scuppernong Church of Christ, and will be conducted by Pastor Jay Rivenbark. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service on Saturday.
