Gilbert Frank Moore

   Gilbert Frank Moore, 74, of 84 Hill Lane Road, Eure, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

   Mr. Moore was born on October 3, 1943, and was the son of the late Frank and Irene Bright Moore. Retired from Estes Express after 37 years of employment, he still worked daily attending to his cows, and operating his own contract trucking business. He was raised in the fellowship of Zion United Methodist Church.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Hodges Moore; his daughter, Deborah Gail Moore; his sister, Roxie Moore; and by his brother, Eugene Moore.

   Surviving are his daughter, Delores Moore White and husband Daniel of Greenville; his son, Keith Moore and wife Rhonda of Eure; two sisters, Louise Brown of Hobbsville and Faye Hollowell of Florence, SC; four brothers, Shirley Moore of Richmond, VA, Edward Moore and Mike Moore, both of Sunbury, and Gene Moore of Gatesville; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
