Shawn Suis

   Timothy Shawn Suis, 54, of Deep Creek Road, Hertford, NC, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 in his home.

   Mr. Suis was born in Chesapeake, VA on August 11, 1963, and was the son of the late John Charlton and Myrtle Marie Belch Suis. Employed for many years as a produce district manager with Food Lion, he was a member of both Ducks Unlimited and the Lunker Lodge Fishing Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Suis.

   Surviving are his wife of nearly 28 years, Charlene Twiddy Suis; three daughters, Megan Armstrong (Ian) of Belvidere, Jessica Suis (Chris), and Brooke Suis (Josh), all of Hertford; a brother, Donald Suis of Chesapeake; and six grandchildren, Cadence, Bentley, Branson, Chandler, Maxton, and C.J.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, and will be conducted by Pastor Donald Sawyer. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service, and all other times at the residence.
