Mary Ann White

   Mary Ann Lile White, 80, of Paradise Road, Edenton, NC, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, in Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation Center.

  
   Mrs. White was born in Dallas, TX on November 22, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Owen and Margaret Wilson Lile. A homemaker, she had volunteered with the Albemarle Commission, and had worked polling with the Chowan County Board of Elections. A faithful member of Edenton Baptist Church, she also had served as a deacon.

  
   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. White.

  
   Surviving are her children, Margaret King, Earline Surratt, Teresa Bunch and husband Keith, and Stephen White and wife Winnie, all of Edenton; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Daniel, Heather, Jennifer, Mike and wife Jennifer, Mindee, and Carolann; and six great-grandchildren, Madi, Brooklyn, Jabez, Alanah, DonJuan, and Jalen; a son-in-law, Flynn Surratt; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

  
   Following a private family burial in Beaver Hill Cemetery, there will be a celebration of her life Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Edenton Baptist Church conducted by her pastor, The Rev. David Brooks. Friends may join the family in the social hall of the church immediately following the service, and all other times at Teresa and Keith’s home, 2937 Rocky Hock Road, Edenton.
