Ginelle Victoria Byrum Murphy

   Ginelle Victoria Byrum Murphy, 72, of 101 Winnebago Trail, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in her home.

   Ms. Murphy was born in Suffolk, VA on May 29, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Hosea Ray and Mabel Wilson Byrum. A retired beautician, she was a member of Suffolk Assembly of God where she had served as a pianist. 

   Surviving are her son, Morris Glover, Jr. and wife Leslie of Suffolk; a sister, Alice Byrum of Suffolk; two brothers, Larry Byrum of Chase City, VA and Tommy Byrum of Emporia, VA; two grandchildren, Katie and Cary Glover; and her special friend, Roberta Boyle.

   A graveside service will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, and will be conducted by her nephew, The Rev. Michael Blythe.

   Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
