   Marjorie Alice Stenson Russell, 85, of Binghamton, NY, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 in her son’s home in Edenton, NC.

   Mrs. Russell was born in Broome County, NY on December 24, 1932, and was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Cook Stenson. A homemaker, she was an active and faithful member of First Christian Church of Kirkwood, NY where she had served for many years as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir, and later enjoyed membership in Grace Baptist Church in Binghamton. 

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Tyler, and by a brother, Robert Stenson.

   Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Dale Russell; a son, Mark Russell and wife, Marianne, of Edenton; a brother, Edward Stenson of Corbettsville, NY; and a grandson, Michael Eggleston.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY, and will be conducted by Pastor Russell Smith.  Burial will follow in the Peck Family Cemetery in Harford, PA. Family will receive friends this Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at DeMunn Funeral Home in Binghamton, NY.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Peck Cemetery Association.
