Rachel Eason Evans

   Rachel Eason Evans, 61, of County Line Road, Tyner, NC, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 in her home.

   Born in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Norfleet and Susie Rogerson Eason.  A stenographer, she was most recently employed in Pitt County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue, and by a brother, William.

   Surviving are her daughter, Sarah A. Evans; a son, William E. Evans; a brother, Edward Eason, all of Tyner; and two grandsons, James Evans, III and Noah Kellam.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 1485 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, VA.

   Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with local arrangements.
