Faye Ward Stallings, 72, of 1710 Sandy Cross Road, Belvidere, NC, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Stallings was born in Chowan County on February 22, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Clayton McDonald and Lessie Bunch Ward. A homemaker and farmer's wife, for many years she had also been employed with the former Morgan's Rest Home. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Baker Stallings; three sisters, Kathleen, Edna Earl, and Barbara Ann; and by four brothers, Berlin, C.M., Raymond, and Robert.
Surviving are her son, Bob Stallings and wife, Jennifer, of Belvidere; two granddaughters, Madelyn Rose and Miranda Faye Stallings; a special niece, Kim Dail; a dear friend, Barbara Stallings; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the Rountree Family Cemetery, 553 Turnpike Road, Belvidere, and will be conducted by the Revs. Vickie Woolard and Randy Ward. Friends may join the family at Bob and Jennifer's home, 1704 Sandy Cross Road, Belvidere.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
