Marvin Etheridge

   Marvin Ray Etheridge, 90, of Don Juan Road in Hertford, NC, and formerly of Edenton, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Brian Center Health & Rehab, Hertford.

   Mr. Etheridge was born in Perquimans County on March 11, 1928, and was the son of the late Jessie L. “Captain Jet” and Mary Moore Etheridge. He had formerly worked as a commercial fisherman.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Cora Trueblood, Minnie Heath, Fannie Harris, and Virginia Pettapiece; and by his brothers, Jesse and Curtis Etheridge.

   Surviving are nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
