Robert Vincent Makar

   Robert Vincent Makar, 72, of 107 Canal Drive, Edenton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, in his home.

   Mr. Makar was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on January 9, 1946, and was the son of the late Harry Michael and Dorothy Houston Makar. A professional musician, he had worked as a community counselor, and in recent years will best be remembered as the owner of Shannon Studio Video Productions. A Vietnam era veteran, he had served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Albemarle Baptist Church.

   Surviving are his wife, Annette Oates Makar; a daughter, Tamala Shannon Geiger; sons, Robert Vincent Makar, Jobe Christopher Makar, and Patrick Shane Makar; step-children, Paul Cherry, II and Nannette Jones; a sister, Karen Quinn; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

   A private celebration of his life is being planned by his family.
