Terry Wayne Pike, Jr.

   Terry Wayne Pike, Jr., 44, of 1919B US 17 North, Merry Hill, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in his home.

   Terry Wayne was born in Chowan County on March 13, 1974, and was the son of Terry Wayne, Sr. and Mary Brown Pike of Merry Hill. A mechanic by trade, he found joy in life by helping and being a friend to others.

   He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, L.E. Brown, Jr.; and by his paternal grandparents, David and Bessie Van Horn Pike.

   In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Terry James Pike (Desaree) of Bishopville, SC; two sisters, Lisa Pike Jernigan of Merry Hill and Amanda Pike Levy (Richie) of Round Hill, VA; his maternal grandmother, Mary White Brown of Merry Hill; and a grandson, Michael James Pike.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Pierce. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor. Friends may join the family at the home of his parents, 1919 US 17 North, Merry Hill.
