Andrew Raynor

   Andrew Paul Raynor, 61, of 609 Prince William Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in his home.

   Born in Rockland County, NY on June 29, 1957, he was the son of the late Rev. David Augustus and Louise Amelia Warrington Raynor.  Employed as a Hearing Aid Specialist, he was an integral part of Freedom Gateway Ministries where he faithfully served as both its pastor and, having been known to be a well-accomplished pianist, as a musician.  He always used his musical talent for the glory of God.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Raynor.

   Surviving are his wife of nearly 16 years, Sheri Onley Raynor; a daughter, Mandy Harris Marable and husband, Scott, of Moyock; a son, T.J. Harris of Edenton; a sister, Marion Gaskins and husband, Mike, of Shallotte; two brothers, Tim Raynor and wife, Gayle, of Portsmouth, VA and James Raynor and wife, Lucinda, of State College, PA; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Preston, Payton, Dylan, Aubrey, Fletcher, and Scottie, all of whom he dearly loved and was affectionately known to as "Papa Drew"; his puppy dog, Gracie Belle, and his cockatiel, Pearl.

   Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the First Church of the Nazarene, and will be conducted by Pastor Bryan Gray.  A private burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  Friends may join the family in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service on Monday.
